Purpose:
The Governors Run and Courtyards Homeowner Association web site is to be used as a communication tool for the members of the community. It is intended to serve as a mechanism to allow for the dissemination of information important to residents of the community.
Access:
Only current residents of the community should access the site. User ID’s and passwords should not be shared with non-residents.
Privacy:
All information on the site should be treated as confidential and should not be shared with non-residents. This is especially true of resident information such as e-mail addresses, physical addresses and phone numbers.
Mass Mailings:
Residents should not use the e-mail addresses contained on the site as a mechanism to distribute mass mailings to the neighborhood of any kind. If announcements are required the appropriate committee should be contacted and asked to post the information on the web site or solicit feedback via e-mail.
Abuse:
The site should not abused in any way (hacking, denial of service, etc). In response to suspected abuse, the Home Owners Association reserves the right to electronically monitor usage of the system and provide that information to law enforcement.
